This mural was created in collaboration with the Comune of Lupara, the Pro Loco, and us, as a collective effort to honor the town’s identity and traditions. Over the course of three weeks of dedicated work, we completed this piece on a 36-square-meter surface, using a four-level scaffolding structure that reached over 13 meters in height. The mural, measuring 6x6 meters, is strategically located at the entrance of Lupara, welcoming both its residents and visitors to this charming corner of Italy.

The artwork represents one of Lupara’s most deeply rooted traditions: the wheat harvest. In the scene, two majestic white cows, characteristic of the region, accompany rural workers dressed in traditional attire. Behind them, the town of Lupara stands as a silent witness to their labor, set against a bright blue sky that enhances the warmth and spirit of the community.

This project was born from a shared vision with the Comune to depict the soul of the town through this mural, celebrating its history and customs. More than just a painting, it is a symbol of identity and belonging—an image that bridges Lupara’s past and present.

Lupara is a small town in the province of Campobasso, within the Molise region, known for its rich agricultural heritage and a close-knit community that keeps its traditions alive. Its rolling landscapes, golden fields, and stone architecture evoke the tranquility of rural Italy, while its warm and proud people continue to pass down the values of hard work and connection to nature from generation to generation.
This mural aims to reflect that spirit, leaving an artistic and cultural mark that will endure over time.
